i chased my losses with sacramento too after the toronto loss. this has been one of the worst days for me yet. i'm going to take break from nba basketball. i can't stand this any more.

don't worry. it's not your fault. i wasn't tailing you. i made up my mind about the raptors bet yesterday and the sac bet was just a last minute decision. me being stupid chasing my losses. everyone was on sacramento so i just hopped on. can't blame anyone but myself for that.

Things have been downhill for quite some time. One lucky day was filled with false hopes. Sorry you think I am a good capper. Good cappers would not blow that many units in a day and that much profit. Follow Lakerboy if you need any advice on games. He has a good crowd and up a ton of units on the season.

Yeah I never did reach 100,000 views. That is probably a good thing. I think I lost most of my viewers long ago, so hopefully nobody was tailing or at least faded like I have been saying.

I didn't go in the Fall because couldn't really afford to. Then once the SBR Book came out, posters lost points in the casino or just started betting in the book. It cut down all my traffic in half, so it was very easy to maintain.

Hey Mex, sorry your night turned out the way it did. I hope this isn't the last we hear from you. You're probably one of the most solid guys on here, and a good capper even if it's been a tough stretch the last couple weeks. Taking a break may be a good thing. I thought it uncharacteristic of you to do a "do or die" bet like that, so hopefully you can take a short leave, regroup and come back stronger.

Mex it all runs in streaks..You know that.. Get back on the horse and piece the units back..I had the same thing happend to me lost 36 units..the next week get them all back..I'm sure you'll have them back in no time..Even great cappers got to get nailed once in a while..

I don't know. I think I am just done with SBR for a while. Just make my posts for points, update my loans and be done for the day basically. I have nothing to contribute. The only reason I said do or die was because I already knew my night was awful and knew if I lost my bet I would be shot my whole NBA profits. So it turned out die. I liked Toronto and Sacramento a lot. I should have just did the one play in the end. It was a sign with how bad my Toronto play was.

Well it took me over three months to even build that up. I think it was higher during the season, but it had been dropping. I am not good enough to get units back. It would take the rest of the season to get back maybe half. I would probably just lose them and be in the red.

I know he did. He had some totals today too. I think he nailed all of those, so his loss was just minor. Up over 200 units on the season. Can't beat that either.

I am horrible at MLB. I just love baseball. I hate the NBA and was doing very well with it until tonight. Probably because I know nothing about the NBA, so I have zero bias towards anything going on.

Mid NFL I was down 60x. Hurt like hell. took a short break, did mock plays, then played small build up
bankroll.....cashed nicely during playoff. Luck comes and go. Sometime it's gone a long time. YOu play
poker....it's the same patience spread over days, weeks....not hours at the table. GL with what you decide.

I didn't know you were still in college. Maybe put you on some sort of scholarship. Major?

Some great advice here Mex.. I understand needing a break once in a while, but don't stay gone too long.. Look back thru this thread, a lot of guys here support you and wish you well.. Your SBR family.. My point is, you'll be missed if you leave and only post once a day or so.. You're a solid guy who took a bad beat.. Happens to us all.. Take a few days, clear your head, and come back stronger than ever..

It's always good to stop for a while if you are on a losing streak. A big part of gambling is the psychological aspect, and that's the biggest reason bookmakers profit off of people. People say this all the time: Control and patience is the biggest part of any gambling game, whether its poker or sports betting, and it really is true.

I'm with you on Denver Stallion, I hope you hit, but most of all I hope you get better and freshen up after your break dude. You made the right decision BOL.
