This game sets-up nicely for a low-scoring game. Denver has been playing without point guard Chauncey Billups for the past five games and their offense has shown no ability to generate points like they can when he’s on the floor. The Nuggets have scored 96 points or less in four of those games, and playing on a back-to-back tonight, those numbers so continue and actually should be a bit worse. Sacramento comes in off back-to-back overtime losses against two of the best teams Cavs and Lakers) in the NBA. The Kings played terrific basketball in both of those games, but the heartbreak of losing both has left this team mentally drained. And on top of that, Sacramento will be without their best player tonight as Tyreke Evans sprained his ankle in the Saturday night loss to the Lakers. Evans has single handily been the offensive force for the Kings all season, and without him on the floor tonight, they’ll have trouble producing points. With both teams missing their key offensive players, i expect a low-scoring game.
