    Cavs Dominated the Lakers
Most dominating performance by any top team so far this year. Not only did the Cavs completely shut down the Lakers offense, but the Lakers proved they are the most classless team in the NBA.

You've got some balls if you want to blame a 15-point home loss in which the Lakers shot 36% on the zebras. That's just being a poor loser. The Cavs game in with a clear gameplan and executed it, meanwhile Phil Jackson proved why he's overrated. The Cavs dominated LA in every aspect of the game. As always, Kobe resorts to his old self in tough games and hurts his team. Also, Bynum, Gasol, and Odom looked amazingly soft tonight. LA has a little soul searching to do now.

I do got balls. To say your Cavs dominated you either were just refreshing your browser or are just being a fan/homer, I'm not saying Cavs didnt deserve to win but the refs made sure LA had no chance, I blame Phil Jackson as well I would of told my team "Dont bother tryin to get a whistle they aint givin you shit."

Everybody always talks about how bad the Lakers are after a loss. Even Laker fans (those bandwagoners). They are still going to win it all in the end. You'll see.

Kobe whined too much in the 3Q. They were within 12-14, but they kept complaining, instead of playing through it. It was physical....but Shaq and company still were getting hacked and playing through it.

You can't blame that loss on the refs. They called more fouls on the Cavs anyways. Derek Fisher took plenty of cheap shots, as did Kobe, and shaq was hammered every time he touched the ball.

Also, I've never see a player throw as big of a fit as Kobe did and not get T'd up. Slamming the ball is an immediate T, not to mention all this other non-sense he did. There's not a sorer loser in the NBA right now. Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon did a great job on him.

Oh and for the Kobe lovers: Kobe didn't shake any hands after the game, where's the story about that?

I am a Laker fan and can admit they played bad today but every team will have its bad days during an 82 game season. They don't need to any soul searching, just put this game behind them and look forward.

Phil Jackson tried to blow this game off as just another game. They came in without any clear gameplan and it showed. The Cavs biggest weakness is guarding a big man who can shoot, yet I don't think I saw Gasol take a 15-footer even once in the first half.

What I mean by Kobe hurts his team in tough games is this:
Kobe has made a lot of progress in the last year or two at becoming a more willing passer and a better teammate. I'm one of his biggest haters and even I will admit that. However, in tough games he has a tendency to go back to his old habits where he forces the action instead of letting the game come to him. Kobe took more shots tonight than the Lakers as a whole made. He should have been trying to get Odom and Gasol more involved to make things easier on him. Then, when things started to go poorly, Kobe started pouting and complaining.

Meanwhile Lebron demonstrated how he has become game's best player and best leader.

When the fans were throwing the foam fingers on the court, LeBron pulled his teammates over to keep them focused. What did Kobe do....keep complaining about the calls.

Exactly. Lebron didn't get caught up in the nonsense and played peacekeeper all game. I also loved how Kobe purposefully running over Mo got no mention. He gets away with intentional cheap shots like that all the time. Remember Battier's bloody face last year? Kobe is a sore loser.

Certainly reasonable, but this game was far too important for the Cavs to have to worry about fatigue. The Cavs have pulled a 180 from last year. Last year they had their best performances against the weakest teams and struggled against the top teams. This year it's the opposite. It's like they have circled 10 important games on the calendar and just go through the motions inbetween.

That was SOOO blatant when they replayed it. Cheap play, cheap player. Don't get me wrong, his is a Top 5 (all-time) talent, but he's a douche.

Agreed, the guy has skills, but he's about the least-likable Top-10 player ever.

This is the only time when Laker/Kobe haters can run their mouths. The Lakers will climb back from this loss. Then, they will soar through the playoffs, while Laker haters will have nothing to say then. So let them boast.

I'll take anyone's bet for all my SBR points on a Lakers futures prop.

I will be the first to give the Lakers props if they do so. All I'm saying is that today showed they have a long way to go and that Cleveland is much better than most people thought.

The Lakers got off more shots so they deserve to win? The Cavs played great defense all game, leading to the Lakers shooting 36%. 11 for 32 is a pretty damn ugly for Kobe too. Moon's length gave him problems.

Don't play with fire Mac. Kobe's just going to get angry and you'll get burrned.
