Orlando -5 looks good to a Celtics fan
anyone looking at Celtics remember Pierce is out 2 weeks from a knee infection and Garnett is expected to play but it's coming off a bruised thigh, his time may be limited..and Marquis Daniels, Big Baby Davis still out.

Celtics may not put in a 100% effort...Sheed will try his 3's and Orlando defense can block Ray Allen.

      yea lines are indeed up..

Celtics are poised to give time to young bench players they want to see more of..
marquee ABC coverage isn't something Doc Rivers or the team care about.. esp. on the road..

as strange as it may sound id be more inclined to take orl if pierce was playing..teams have shown time and time again over the years that when a star player goes down every 1 jumps on the other team only to be disappointed as teams losing star tends to step up in the 1st gm after the injury

I'm sticking with my early Orlando -2 before Pierce news was out. Hopefully no let down by the Magic. I have seen the same thing this year 2daBank.

exactly right, seems to happen all the time. I might skip that game altogether, or maybe the Under is worth a shot.

Celtics this year usually lose to teams above .500.

You think Boston isn't motivated? Orlando bounced them in the playoffs, all of you load up on Orlando to get that line to 6 so I can pound the Celtics.

I say Celtics + anything. Orlando shoots way too many jumpshots and the Celtics D should hold their percentage low.

Even with Pierce out, I have a gut feeling Celtics take it down and the +5 pts seals the deal. Lets gamble. +1 Unit

Biggest positive for the C's is Big Baby back .. dressed.. on the bench for the first time since breaking thumb (by punching someone). He's not scheduled to actually play until after Jan 1, though..
not much else to say .. I'm a huge C's fan and bet them very often, just not tomorrow.
Still, won't touch it.. C's can still cover/win especially if Garnett/Allen/Sheed/House/Rondo are in major synch.

The best thing about taking Orlando in any situation is they are probably the only team in the league that can be down double digits or really big and make quick runs and recapture the lead. Orlando can score points in a hurry and even when they are playing from behind, they are the 1 team you can have confidence in that they will come back from a deficit that may not be possible for other teams to come back from

in the nba every team is capable of coming back..personally love taking teams down at the half this league is a gm of runs and more often then not the team trailing gets back in it so saying that orl is the 1 team capable of making a run and coming back from double digits really makes no sense to me

orl is also a team capable of giving up a big lead as when there jump shots fall early you know they will keep jacking...i personally think bos brings the defensive intensity and you wont see orl hittng a high % of there jumpers...really like the under in this 1

Could not believe Orlando scored 27 points after 27 minutes of this game (4 minutes into 3rd quarter before hitting 30). They were on pace to score 48 points if Vince hadn't kicked it into a higher gear at that point. Pitiful.
