NBA Best Bets - 12/19/09

I will be tracking this each day from now on. Simply post your best NBA bet for the day.

The Rules:
- Each user may post one pick each day.
- Each bet will be to win 1 unit on - lines and risking 1 unit on + lines.
- You may make any bet that is listed on SBRodds.
- Books allowed: All books on SBRodds
- Chalk Limit of -180

Please post the pick, spread, price, and book for each wager.

I will post the updated records before noon the next day.

Well I wanted to exclude Bodog and Matchbook for obvious reasons and I was thinking of excluding Pinnacle as well. Maybe I'll just make it all books aside from Matchbook and Bodog.

I also specified no ML favorites, but I supposed I could just put something like a -180 chalk limit.

Why exclude those when you can make real bets at these places? I like the Daily Best Bet Thread and think it should just work the same way.

I guess we could do that. Bodog just tends to have stale lines very often. I'm keeping the chalk limit at -180.

I don't like Bodog but if there were not so many ?s surrounding their operation, I would definitely play there because the majority of the time I am a dog player and their dog lines are always inflated.

I was going to exclude it because it provides such an advantage over the other books. But it really doesn't matter, so all books will be allowed.

This is great williams, gives new guys like me a chance to prove themselves. Most people on here seem to think if you are new to SBR you are new to sportsbetting. But this is not the case for me, I just never used a forum before but have been betting for a long time. I really enjoy using this forum, I will attempt to prove my betting skills through this thread. Thanks for the opportunity!!

My only question would be about posting the book I am using, as I make most of my bets through my local bookie. Should I just check the odds at an SBR A listed book and post that as my line and book??
