Don Logan Frolics In the Rose Garden at P-town Tonite
    Blazers -125 vs Suns

Divergence in public opinion has most people fading P-town in favor of Phoenix. Problem with Blazers lately is their defense. If they don't buckle down and resume playing strong D they'll have a tough time against the Suns. Blazers are typically a medium to slightly heavy fave at home vs Phoenix, but oddsmakers have overreacted to a few bad defensive efforts by the Blazers, imo. I'm not particularly impressed by Phoenix beating Spurs the other nite, as the Spurs played uncharacteristically bad on the defensive end that nite but still managed to score 100+ on Phoenix.

Bottom line is Portland stands a good chance to win this even if they don't have a great game defensively, and the line has really been overadjusted based on just a handful of recent games. Easy bet on Blazers, points or moneyline. Betting the moneyline -125, myself...

Refs assigned to tonight's affair, lean toward the home team, to the tune of 37-16 su.

That's mighty encouraging. Many hours until tipoff, but I got a feeling late money will come in on Blazers for this one.

I'm not big on trends but Phoenix has owned this series over the years except the last 2, but who was that big fat **** cloggin the lane and preventing Phoenix' run ' gun offense and is the most uncoordinated guy to ever play a sport professionaly? Oh yea Shaq "The Big Cancer" Portland plays no D and cant throw up big scoring numbers without Fernandez and Outlaw. I watched Portland get SLAPPED around at home by Memphis and Miami in pathetic showings from a home team. Brandon Roy is EXTREMELY over-rated as well.

This is true. Thats really all you need, refs could take Phoenix out of rythym and with their lack of D well actually NO D it could get ugly on the road for them.

Couldn't disagree more with you. The games you are talking about that Phoenix lost were 109-129 and 119-124. Hardly had problem with there run and gun offense. True Portland may be banged up, but Phoenix is just as short in depth, especially in this road tilt. Phoenix beat San Antonio with some nice contributions off the bench the other nite. These players.... the unsung hero's tend not to show up on road games as evidenced by Phoenix's recent road woes were they have been blownout on occasions. Portland I believe shows up tonite with a solid performance and plays well. I think Phoenix has a let down right here after there big public win. And I love the fact this game is on TNT. TNT shows these kinda games for a reason... Phoenix's last two loses on the road to Portland were on Thursday Nite TNT games. Also Phoenix's last tilt on Thursday nite they lost as -8 road chalk to New orleans Hornets minus CP-3. Add it all up... and the fact that Phoenix is a public darling and you are catching points here. I think the public bettor gets slayed once again. Just my take. Just my opinion. They are like assholes. Everybody has one.

Bartender.... May I have Portland and the ML please???

GL ladies and best of luck with all your plays tonite!!

OK, equal time for the NHL studs:

                Nashville/Edmonton OVER 5.5 +100

This play is juice-free at Stations in Las Vegas and possibly still at a few online books. Both teams can pump up the volume offensively, and the Oilers defense has been consistently leaky enough that nobody should have much trouble scoring if they play to form, imo. Moneyline priced at a pickem, so a 3-3 game at some point is well within expecations.

I did as well teecee!! I am so fukin greedy when I know I am on the right side.... The only quarter Portland decided to play with any intensity was the 4th... They knew they could beat the Suns when they got ready. Another loss for the rank amateurs.

That crowd usually lifts them over the hump, they play alot more confident when that crowd is roaring in the Rose Garden.

Tecee, I must say I am not that good at college basketball either. I don't know shit about it and rarely do I bet it. It's hard to handicap 19yr old college kids that have nothing put pussy and XBOX on there brain at that age. Plus they are very emotional. I like the pros. They are pretty consistent nite in and nite out. Not perfect, but way more predictable than college.
