12/14 Vince Carter is unlikely to play tonight
"John Denton says that Vince Carter is unlikely to play tonight.

“We don’t know anything (about the knee/hip) because he hasn’t been able to do anything because he’s sick,’’ Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. “We didn’t go through the walk-through and I don’t know about tonight. But I don’t think the knee or hip are an issue, but it’s hard to tell when a guy hasn’t practiced.’’

Van Gundy said he didn’t think that Carter has the flu because he hasn’t had any fever.

If Carter can’t play, J.J. Redick has been told that he will start at shooting guard for the Magic. Redick has played particularly well in spot duty in the Magic’s past two games, scoring nine points in Phoenix and 10 points in Utah."

Reddick can light it up. I believe he scored 27 once this season?

Thanks for the info ST. Carter not playing would hurt some teams, but Orlando is so deep I think they can make up the shots and points elsewhere in their lineup and not miss him too much.

Hmmm. Looks like Carter is not only playing, but he's the only one making any shots.

Orlando down by 10... The game is far from over but I knew staying away from this game was a good idea. Indiana has develop new chemistry with Granger being out and Dunleavy being back and healthy. And Indiana's win over Washington last game was pretty impressive. So impressive you would think +12 would be too high.

It looks like it's just Carter versus the entire Pacers team! In the first quarter he made 14 points, Howard made 3.
