Actually sj55 Kobe is 2-2-1 ats after a playoff game in which he had more than 6 to's the previous game, 2-3 su. Of interest is all 5 games went over the total:

Yeah they need him in there healthy and he won't be that for sure, but he'll try I think, but that's a nasty injury for full contact hoops. Odoms is kinda streaky, he has a great game and then nothing for the next 3 or 4 he can be had and that's a concern. If Boston has everyone playing great in the same game they'll be awfully dangerous. Big game Sunday for both teams but I took Boston -2.5, small number at home in a game they really have to win to get the series.

I don't have any problem with you Goat, but you do seem to patronize a lot of people.

For instance, Sweetjones doesn't need to justify any pick he makes with stats or trends. It's his pick and his own reasons are enough. I also think Lakers will win gave 5. I don't have any spectacular reasons, I just think they'll win because they are better.

You may not have the intention of sounding like a jerk with what you say. but there is definitely a tone of condescension in how you say what you say. Not here to start a fight, just something to think about.

if you still like the Lakers to win the series then they need to win game 5. They can' go back to staples down 3-2. I know this isn't a good reason to take the Lakers but at least Bynum had his knee drained and should be a little more effective in game 5. If you like the Lakers, all the numbers are in their favor. Phil Jackson is 47-0 in playoffs when winning game 1 and the team that wins game 3 when the series is tied 1-1 wins 10-10 times and the Lakers are still -190 favorites to win the series. On the other hand the Celtics starting 5 has never lost a playoff series but you can get the Lakers at +135 on sunday, I think they have a great chance to win that game as they are still the better team.

If the Celtics win game 5 the NBA is guaranteed a 7 game finals. If the Lakers return home down 3-2 they will ROLL the celtics in game 6. You could chase Laker money.....You could take the moneyline tomorrow and if the celtics win double down in game 6.

I'm just going to state the obvious. IF Bost takes game 5, then I would say bet them to win the series. The odds will still be good enough for the value. They are a strong road team and that makes it a good wager.

I also say go with Paco and LB on game 5, because they are really strong after a loss. I feel pretty certain they will not lose 2 in a row very often!!

lol wtf are u talking about. I have placed maybe 3 bets in this finals. Game 2 Celtics +6 and Game 3 Lakers moneyline. Also pushed that Lakers 2nd half +5. Had Celtics last game too -3.

If the lakers lose tomorrow you are NUTS to think they wouldnt win at home in an elimination game. Kobe will go to the line 30 times in that game and voila the nba gets a 7 game series.
