I agree that they try, but they were trying in earlier games as well. The Suns bench is just too high energy, and the Laker bench is inferior, forcing the Laker starters to play more minutes while the Sun starters are all resting. Pace is definitely a critical factor in this game. Vujacic hasn't played yet in the playoffs. He's not going to be a significant factor in this series.

I think even if you want to back the Lakers, laying the -7 is just out of the question.

Regardless of who's shooting on the perimeter, the Lakers problems stem from Bynum. Weak post presence = less uncontested shots from the field.

Tomorrow, the Lakers are winning that game. Plain and simple. I may mess around with the spread, but I've already locked them in on the moneyline and laying the heavy chalk.

Reasons: Phoenix bench at home vs on the road is a stark stark difference. Lakers really feed off the energy at home. When they get hot at home, they sustain that ish and go for the knock out punch, especially in a huge game like tomorrow's. The zone has given them some problems, sure, but scoring isn't the issue. It's defense. With the high energy at Staples and a near must-win situation, they will turn it up on D leading to easy O.

I'm not thinking too much about this, it's the simple and obvious play tomorrow: LAKESHOW, i'll lay the -375.
