I'm hearing quite a few people are on this play. A lot of people just can't understand how Atlanta was favored every single game at home this year and now all of a sudden are catching 7 points. GL with this play.

atl hasn't shown anything that they can compete in this series they look tired and they almost know they can't win against orlando right now but the line shows that they will somehow cover this game and make the books a lot of money tonight and i gotta believe utah wins the late game they are too good to lose 4 straight

If I took Atl tonight I'd go crazy watching them try to score. Orlando clicking on all cylinders right now, its a no play or Orlando for me. Orlando is like 13-1 in their last 14, and Atlanta couldn't score if they were in the gym all alone. I'm leaning towards an over play on Jazz tonight, they will scrap and not go away without a fight.

initial power ratings had Orl minus 9 ar home and minus 1 on road for this series (factoring home court) went to 2/12...(last game blowout).......matchup problems for Atl as well.......deep bench

Just a little info on that LAL/UTAH game I think you guys should be aware of.

So I am looking at this Lakers/Jazz game and see a -3 spread. I then go and check to see the 1st quarter since LAL is so dominant in the 1st quarter and notice that the spread is only half of -3??? Now a 1st quarter line is usually about 1/4 obviously of the full game spread. This line maximum should be -1 Utah, I personally thought Utah would be -0.5.

Now why is Vegas giving the LAL so many points in the 1st half. They are the best 1Q team around. My thinking is that it's a HUGE trap. TheGreek was recently juicing the Jazz 1Q -1 -125 and 5Dimes is giving Jazz -1.5 -115 1st quarter.

So I went around digging trying to figure out why the Lakers are catching so many points in their best quarter, the first, and why Vegas is juicing Utah and trying to get you off them. I went back and looked at the last four LAL @ UTAH 1st quarter playoff games and this is what I found.

22-17 UTAH
25-20 UTAH
26-17 UTAH
31-21 UTAH
