#19357The books get more info than we could ever get they probably know about 95% if not better who is going to win but at times they slip up and we get to hammer them.Comment -

True sharps (of which I am not one by any stretch of the imagination) know that line manipulation will occur during the playoffs and can spot it a mile away. Hence why LB posted his plays last night when normally he waits and watches line movement during the regular season.
People who think they're sharps, or are trying to learn, spend too much time looking at the line movement in these games and start second guessing themselves every which way, which the books know. They rely too much on line movement to dictate their plays at this time of year. These guys at the books have been doing it a hell of a lot longer than any of us have, and they'll be here long after we're gone.
Do I think they know who will win? All I'll say is that it's not often that you see a book make a genuine mistake.
This is all just my opinion of course. Could be talking out of my arse for all I know.Last edited by shari91; 04-30-10, 10:09 PM.Comment -

#19366Could the refs be any more blatantly obvious with the over on the Denver/Utah game? I don't have a total play there, but good grief, look at the foul and FT numbers midway through the second quarter.Comment -

#19380Because the only people betting on these games right now are sharps, people who think they're sharps or are trying to learn, or recreational gamblers who want to throw $50 on their home team. Or the Lakers no matter where they live.True sharps (of which I am not one by any stretch of the imagination) know that line manipulation will occur during the playoffs and can spot it a mile away. Hence why LB posted his plays last night when normally he waits and watches line movement during the regular season. That's not true Sheri I listen to LB, Sweetjones, Paco, Expert!!!
Ok on the flip side Sheri is right it's hard to read what the lines are doing in the playoffs I have no clue in 2h because pini is always screwing with them the whole time.
Now lets get this laker win so we can all celebrate!!Comment -

#19384You are as sharp as they come. You called OKC long before the game. Just talking about line movement here.
I'm thinking the squares are the ones who are stressing out over the lines at this point. It all seems like one big head fukk and it seems that way every damn year.Comment -
