I was most comfortable with the over in that one out of the 5 plays. Yet the minute the fourth game in a row hit, I just knew I was fukked. At almost that exact moment, Portland seemed to throw in the towel, and the under was gold.

I know that. I never play them for more than $5 or $10, but if I have 4 or 5 plays I feel that are solid, I'll roll the dice.

Pretty much a waste of money, though, because bullshit like this almost always happens.

Here's a lil superstitious ritual I learned to follow when betting those parlays:

-Never look at your pending parlay while there are still games left to be played

-Never add up the money in your head of how much you will win if the parlay hits

Just wait til all the games are over and log-in to see all the money in your acct

Game 2: Opened at DAL -4, ML -170 // Closed at Dal -3, ML -160
Game 5: Opened at DAL -4.5, ML -200 // Currently at DAL -5, ML -230

Juicing a line more has no relation to them having faith in the Mavs... Historically, when down 3-1 in a series, the team that's down loses Game 5 ~60% of the time, Game 6 ~20% of the time, Game 7 ~15%, and has actually come back 8 times in 189 attempts to win the series (~5%).

You would be betting into worse odds looking for the inferior team to win a "must-win" game. I'm planning on betting the Spurs ML here and then chasing into Game 6 if needed. The Spurs have this series in hand.
