I'm about to get buried by the Bulls and now a Rhode Island choke job. This is going to pretty much wipe me out for the season. Two monster plays, two total gags?

Yup....my last two big plays of the year as it's turning out.

Well, that does it for me until NBA '10-'11....really all hoops for that matter. We all have the games we miss badly and the ones we hit easily, but I've had next to no luck in the last two months in the close ones. The Bulls game wasn't even that bad compared to what I've dealt with in the last few weeks....

-Blazers coming back from 25 point deficit to cover vs Blazers
-Pacers scoring 13 unanswered vs Dallas in the final 2 minutes to push
-Lose two 1H unders on Friday Night of the NCAA tournament on half court shots....within 15 minutes of each other.
-BYU over Florida (+5) in 2 OT first day of tourney
-Grizzles (+4) lose by 5 to Bucks in OT Sunday
-don't get me started on the Thuggets

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head...

I'm pretty sure that OT hasn't helped me once since the end of January. I had a bad day Sunday so I took a break yesterday and didn't tail when things went well here. I jump back in today and look what happens. I was watching the Bulls tonight thinking maybe just once I can get a big bet.....halfway knowing what will happen (and did). Yes, I haven't tailed here consistently like I should but wow I do pick the wrong days as few as there are.

Sorry to rant but had to get it out of me. I exaggerate but I would guess that in the close plays the ball has bounced my way maybe 20 or 25 percent of the time.

By the way, I have URI in college tonight in my last remaining bet so bank on a Tarheel victory. My bookie loves me.

I also got fukked at the end by URI. But you know what, that is what happens when you bet on sports. You gotta factor in a certain amount of the games will end in heartache. If you want to do this and actually be successful, you need to think like a baseball closer. Whatever happened yesterday stays there. You can only control what happens moving forward. Sometimes people think if they feel sorry for themselves out loud, the sporting gods will hear them and change their fortune. Hit the reset button, there's still plenty of money to be made!

I don't think anyone should be making big nba bets as of now.. Teams don't give a shit about covering, or winning. Either pick a good 1-2 games and bet on those, or just make small plays... Or like what LB said, just play other sports out there. This time of the season is just hard to figure out. We can all make the assumptions like Bulls need this win, or Lakers don't care anymore. Or lakers want to get 60 wins, or go 4-1 on the road. The truth is, we can't really say how any team will show up night to night....

this is actually the best time of the season because it shows you what teams are made of. theres a few teams you can stay away from, maybe cleveland la, but everything else is fine. now is the perfect time to bet. if the bulls need a win, that doesn't mean they are going to get it. You shouldn't bet a team because "they need a win." There's just as much at stake for the suns. Bulls won't even make the playoffs.

As long as James plays tomorow the best bet in this would be the over. Last time these two teams played total only got into the 170s and if you watched this game bucks were playing tired and mo williams and delonte west trying to run a halfcourt offense was pretty comical.

Honestly, I believe Cleveland runs Milwakee out or their building tonight. Cavs the play IMO. I'm sick of the Bucks shhit. This card does have potential. I think LakeShow gets it done as well. Dallas looks trap to me.
