The Utah Jazz vs. Lakers game will be a blowout and not many posters and forums have had this discussion yet about this game. The Lakers are unstoppable at home and have 2 losses at home and are 9-9 ATS as favorites this season. This being said, many people know the Lakers are almost always double digit favorites at home and many people feel they are too risky to take on spreads because they let teams come back to within single digits at the end of games. Theres one thing about this that many people forget. It is part of basketball to slow down the tempo and let the clock tick down and not put up a strong offensive performance when up by 10+ at the end of games.
The Lakers are 5-4 ATS after scoring more than 105 points in their previous game. This stat is meaningless for this game because they are scoring above 105 in almost every game in last month. The only small meaning of this stat is that the line makers are over exaggerating the lines for the Lakers.
Now, I know I have put up an analysis on the Lakers not being able to cover more than 50% of their home spreads but this game will be an easy steal for the Lakers.
Gasol, Odom and Bynum will dominate the boards vs. Boozer, Okur, and Brewer. Laker's starting five have an excellent record vs. the Jazz and how they play lower inside ball. The Lakers have been crushing teams at home. I do not see any factor in this game that will change the Laker's offensive and defensive performance. Lakers have won their last 3 out of 4 by 11+ at home vs. Jazz
