I keep track of NBA stats in my own database for the season, and compile some helpful additional stats for my own use. I decided that others could benefit a lot from them as well, as they're not readily available anywhere online that I've seen, broken down like this. I posted some of them over in the Thinktank, but figured this was where it would be put to more use.
The attached txt file includes 1Q, 1H, 2H, & full game stats for every team, subdivided by home & away. Each set has 8 columns, with the first four being: SU W-L-P, average points scored for, average pts scored against, and point differentials, all for road teams, and the next four being the same for home teams. I put it into a txt file as I thought that would be the most accessible format.
While they're useful, just remember to take them with a grain of salt, as there are a lot of other factors that come into play, particularly with the 2H stats. If you apply them too liberally to your plays, you'll run into trouble.
Enjoy.
