I guess I should give some analysis. The first time they played it was way lower in Miami. I see the public is playing the over and the books lowered it a bit to lure more over backers in. Now the books(pinnacle-where i play) are charging them for it. TNT games on thursdays are a lot slower with all of the tv timeouts etc. I wanted to take nuggets ats at first but I think this will be a safer play. Karl and his boys will show some D tonight and Miami will try to play slow.

good point, ture true. BUT: Nuggets are the highest scoring team in NBA and allowing their opponents to score on avg. 102, now thats pretty close for the game to go under or over. but i do respect your opinion and we gone have to wait till the game ends. but i do have them as under for half at 106 because the nuggets get really freaken hot always in the 2nd half.

I honestly wouldn't touch the OU. These two teams have had such a widespread of point scores throughout their past meetings that it's hard to predict whos gonna score what. Yes, denver is the highest scoring team in the NBA right now, but you have to take into consideration that sometimes they just score an incredible amount that throws off averages. For example yesterday the hawks scored 140+ which is gonna jump their average up too since the amount is so great. Just some food for thought, I plan to stay away from this games OU and just take DEN ATS. Good luck to everyone! Btw lakerboy do you have a thread of your season picks? I've read some of your past input on games and found them very helpful in my picks at times.

The double digit looks good, but I think DEN will pound the heat overall, not to mention DEN getting many of their points off of free throws (which they shoot like 80%+ as a team). Just my opinion though good luck on your pick!

IMO, the total is a pretty tight line. I had it capped at 209.5. However, I like your approach on this one a lot. This is one of those, "It's such an over, it's an under" kind of games. I'm including it in a small parlay.

Sorry Lakerboy, the Nuggets and Heat just basically lost the hoop in the last 1:30 of the game. It was painfull.
