They toss in a game here and there. This is the third (and fourth loss). All blowouts.
Game against a terrible team with a game against the Cavs the next day. Classic trap game.

My understanding was they didn't give a rats about the NY game so they could focus on Cavs. Cavs still looking good though, waiting for movement.

When they started this road trip they were looking at 8 of the next 11 games on the road, including CLE, LAL, DEN, POR. Easy to overlook the Knicks. Two minutes in I could tell they had no energy, and thought they would fall behind by DD's before waking up. They did fall behind by a huge margin, but never woke up.
It was mostly Amare who didn't do anything. He was just walking around, lazily. Saving himself for the reunion with Shaq. I know he wants to outplay Shaq.
Suns ML looking pretty good to me. As long as they play hard. But I just can't see them rolling over two nights in a row. Definitely taking the 8 pts.

Well the Suns are my favorite team in the NBA, and I'm happy they had the best record in the NBA, coming into the Knicks game, but I'm not sure their record realy reflects their skill. This game is the defining moment of the Suns season and if they do manage to compete for 48 minutes, maybe even get the W, it will be known they are a contender as of right now (of course form changes throughout the season).
I just can't see it happening against the Cavs @ home, especially after the cavs confidence bosting win over Dallas, who are also red hot. But here's hoping the Suns do pull off the W, regardless of how I bet.

Not with Shaq in there it won't be! The Cavs look very average with his old ass in there. Plus, the Cavs still cannot defend the pick and roll as well as have a hard time defending good 3 point shooting teams. I live in Cleveland and watch every game. The Suns ML is risky, but an interesting look ... I really like the points though.

Suns already beat Boston in the garden. That was a defining moment. They are for real, and are extremely scrappy in the fourth quarter. But their schedule has been weird. They have played only 6 home games so far, and tonight is the 13th road game.

Scoring teams really bother the Cavs. Let's put it this way, a few weeks ago when the Cavs were at Orlando and won easily ... I promise you they either lose or the game would have been a lot closer if they had all their shooters healthy.
Cavs are so athletic and fast without Shaq in the line-up. If he gets limited minutes, then I think the Cavs should take care of business ... but he won't cause Mike Brown is stubborn. When he sends out Andy, Z and Shaq on the floor together (which happens a lot more than it should), they have no offense and their defense is slow at best.

True,
however Boston were going through a slump. I'd still go as far as saying this will be their hardest game yet imo.

The Suns seem shorthanded. Their bench is trash. Barbosa is out. Shaq could really go off in the paint. I mean who is going to stop him? Not Amare or Frye and definitely not Robin Lopez. And what about Varejou and Big Z. And the Knicks were just scoring in the paint. 50 points were in the paint by the Knicks. I wonder how much Lebron and the Cavs bigs will have? I definitely like the Cavs to win. If the Cavs slow the pace down it's a wrap.

Not saying he can stop Shaq but Lopez is a better on the ball defender than Frye or Amare, Amare doesnt really play D, some of Dirk Nowitzkis best games were against Stoudemire.

Robin Lopez lol... he's the complete opposite of his brother as some would say to the Manning NFL brothers. Robin Lopez what a bust. JJ hickson would crush him....

You must not watch the games closely or don't know what your looking for, Brooke Lopez is a much better scorer than Robin, but Robin is still a better defender than Amare or Frye, do you understand niether Stoudemire or Frye plays D? The Suns keep Robin for 1 reason and its not because of his scoring. And you will maybe see him matched up on 1 on 1 with Hickson 5 or 6 times the entire game.

The Suns don't play D period. Robin Lopez defense isn't that good. Brooke Lopez is better scoring and defending over his brother. Louis Amundson is more productive than Robin Lopez. Robin Lopez barely gets any minutes lol. Phoenix really should have drafted Roy Hibbert. And we'll see what he does tonight, against Big Bill Cartwright, if he gets any playtime.

You're right, their starting 5 average about 31 years of age, nearly twice that of a high school varsity team starter. I'm sure fatigue won't be a factor...

No, Phoenix aren't tired. They aren't missing lay-ups, they don't have 7 turnovers 1q, they're not trailing by 19...not tired at all..
