Pistons will win, cover -6, and will go under the total. The James Plan (jordan rules circa 1990's) will go into affect. With all the defensive play, on both ends, it should go under the total, even though it is the lowest total of the playoffs. Also, by limiting lebron's time with the ball, they will limit him not only as a scorer but also as a playmaker, where he has been most effective and where his team gets their points from. Lebron did not come out scoring until they closed out the nets in game 6, hence, it will limit the cav's offensive production allowing the pistons to cover and the total go under.

#5Problem is, EVERYONE will be pounding half time line for Detroit. I mean everyone. Cleveland is outrebounding Detroit by 11, has attempted 8 more FT's, yet is shooting even worse from the field. Detroit has turned the ball over 10 times to Cleveland's 4...
We'll se what the HT line is, but I have to lean Detroit also... Just weary of all the action.Comment -

#6Detroit -7 at half... Don't know I can play that one. Like the under of 88, though.

#8I think 7 sounds about right though they will come out more hungry in the second half and still probably get the win. I am not going to load up on it I will just lay a small wager on it.Comment -

#9Watch out. This could very well be the wake-up call Detroit has needed. This could be their "horrendous performance" at home for this playoffs. Getting Cleveland at +7.5 for the second half, when they were +6.5 for the entire game is tempting.Comment -

#11Well, that 2nd half played out exactly like I imagined it... That is, until the last 10 seconds when Lebron passed up a wide open layup, kicked it out to an even more wide open Marshall, who bricked a potential game winning 3. It will be very, very interesting to see the +/- for game 2. They could have gone to OT and still hit the Under of 177...Comment -

#12I could see over in Game 2 being the play. Game 1 in the Nets/Cavs series was a lot like this, and Game 2 went way over. I think Brown (despite being a total idiot) will realize his team has to push it more than they did tonight.Comment
