Everyone, I was planning on postponing anymore gambling until after the Thanskgiving holiday was past, but then I logged into The Greek to check my balance and I saw something amazing.
OKLAHOMA CITY + 7 1/2
I just cant pass up this amazing play. Their is no way that the Jazz are going to cover this. They will be lucky to win. They wont win by 8. I hate to do this 2 nights in a row, but anyway this is a near

I said it last night on the Twolves Under and it won. This will be another winner.
Anyways, these 2 teams are both 1000% different than what they were last year. OKC is a decent team this year with some good all around shooting ability. They start 6'9 Jeff Green, 6'9 Kevin Durant, 7'1 Serbian Center Krstic, 6'7 Sefolosha, and 6'3 Westbrook. This team is a scoring threat at all 5 of those spots.
4 times this year OKC has had 5 players in double digit scoring. Twice this year, they have had 3 players score 20+. That may not seem that amazing, but when you think about it, it really is. Kevin Durant is going to get his 25 tonight, but the other guys will score big too. The Jazz cannot stop this team.
I bet you that you cant even name anyone playing for the Jazz tonight. Their entire team is decimated with injuries. Their best players coming into the season havent even playd this year. Kyle Korver, CJ Miles, Matt Harpring are all out. And now they think Memhut Okhur might have swine flu, because he has been with flu like symptoms.
This Jazz team goes only 8 or 9 deep. You cant do that for very long as these guys cant keep going 40-45 minutes each every game. After you take out the injured players who wont be in, the Jazz only have Carlos Boozer and Kirilenko as big names.
This Jazz team is so far removed from the Malone, Ostertag, Stockton, Hornacek days but they keep being favored because they used to be good. When you really break it down and look at it, OKC is the better team here. Tonight we are getting 7 1/2 and that is more than enough to win this bet.
The Jazz come in with a 7-6 record and on a 3 game win streak after starting 4-6. During that 3 game stretch they have won by an average of 5 points against 3 weak teams, none of who have a winning record. Before that 3 game stretch this Jazz team has lost by double digits 3 times, only beat New York by 2, and had only won 2 games by 7 1/2 all year.
On the other hand, OKC comes in 7-7 and has only lost by this many points 3 times this year. Each time playing against far better competition than the Jazz will offer tonight.
Last game out, OKC had its worst shooting performance percentage wise all year. They shot only 37 % against the Lakers and still hung around in the game until mid fourth quarter.
I expect OKC to come out and have a good shooting night tonight off that miserable performance against the Lakers. That combined with a shorthanded Jazz team will equal a cover if not outright win for Oklahoma City tonight.
