I took OKC PK 2H. If Lakers are up 20 going into the 4th you won't see Kobe or Gasol.

Even though Gasol got a few minutes in the 4th, the scrubs choked the big lead!

Whenever team A is up huge like 20 plus and team A is a PK for 2nd half take the other team (B)... That was a trick line... but you'll get'em next time Man3645. Congrats Oklahoma 2nd half backers though.

I took the bet because I missed the original -10 lakers spread from the beginning before the game started. I would have been real happy to have gotten on my computer 20 min before I saw that line, but ya the 2nd half was kinda foolish.

IMO, Second Half lines are the hardest part about betting NBA. So often they can look SO good, and go sideways on you SO fast...

You can give yourself a huge edge if you spend a bit of time looking through each team's performance in 1H/2H and identify the ones that tend to score more of their points in the 1H or 2H. OKC is 6-1-1 ATS on the road in second 2Hs this season, mostly because their offense tends to start slow (they're 1-7-0 in the 1Hs of those games). In most of those games, they had a strong 4Q when the other team already had the game wrapped up and they pulled the starters to rest them.

Lakers almost always cough up the big lead and allow a backdoor cover once they have the game in hand. They still covered the game spread last night but I would never take them in the 2H when they're up by 20+ at the half.
