Man, this year is starting out rough for me. Still not getting a good feel for the teams. Oh well, plays today:
Boston -10 (-110). I was trying to plug this in at -9 but the line jumped 1 point on me just like that. I will take it though as this line is low because of Boston's lost and New York's win last night. New York is still trash and at home they're at their worse. Boston has been losing lately but it's against young scoring organized teams that play well together et al... (Phoenix Suns-high scoring team that's playing well right now, Indiana-alot of gunners on team, Atlanta-alot of young scorers and athletic bigs on team, Orlando-young bigs and scorers on team).
All of Boston's losses this year has come against young scoring/athletic teams that match up well or better than the Celtics. It doesn't matter if they play defense or not as long as they can score/athletic and match up well with the Celtics they will beat them. New York is a dysfunctional team that plays just as dysfunctional as they look.. New York's only win at home this year is against the dysfunctional New Orleans Hornets who are a slow walk the ball up the court scoring team.. I feel Boston is too big and athletic for New York here.
Just about every New York home game loss this year was a blow out against the Knicks. The Knicks were being blown out by the Jazz and Cavs the whole game and came back at the end shooting everything. I don't see that happening here with the Celtics. The Celtics lost the other nite and I see them bouncing back here and plus the Celtics plays hate the Knicks. Big win here, I hope.
