    NBA (20 Nov. 2009) Pick
    MIAMI HEAT @ TORONTO RAPTORS

    [FORECAST: Raptors -2],

REASON: Miami lost to Oklahoma City on Wednesday. They were defeated again the next day, this time by Atlanta Hawks. Wade struggled with his shot in those games, so he will be all about business against Raptors tonight in Toronto. He has to put an end to his shooting slump. The easiest way to do that is attacking the basket and getting some high percentage shots or going to the free throw line. Penetrating into Raptors defense won't be too easy though as Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani of Raptors cover the painted area really well.

Udonis Haslem and Quentin Richardson missed the last game due to injuries and they are questionable for today. During their absence Jermaine O'neal and Michael Beasley need to help Wade on the offensive end. Otherwise Miami will get its 3rd consecutive loss.

Toronto is also going through some rough times as they dropped 3 in a row. Although they have a good core in Bargnani, Bosh, Turkoglu, De Rozan and a deep supporting cast, they give up too many points each game, which makes it very difficult to win games on the road. Raptors won 3 of 4 games on their home court. Their only home loss came against Orlando. Watching Toronto's home game against Cavaliers, I can say that they play solid basketball at home. And for that reason I will go with Toronto tonight.

Both teams will try hard to slip out of their recent troubles, but I believe with the support of the home crowd, Raptors will defeat short-handed Miami despite Wade's best effort.

My theory is that Miami has a Better D, and Better O. Who will guard Wade? Miami has enough big men to control Bosh. I think close game, I would take +3, Miami could pull it out by a couple, or lose by 1 or 2
