I cant believe the Oklahoma City team total here is 90. There is no way that The Thunder is going to get over 90 points tonight. Yes, this is a much improved Thunder team this year, but still 91 points is out of the question.
Oklahoma City is going into Miami's house tonight and will be facing one of the toughest Defenses in the NBA. The Heat have only allowed 2 teams all year long to break 90 points. The Cavaliers and the Suns are the only 2. That is 2 pretty good offenses who, even though they broke 90 still scored below their team averages. Oklahoma City does not have anything near the high powered offenses that Phoenix and Cleveland bring.
Oklahoma City does not even have a very good offense. This team averages 93 points a game this year. How in the world are they going to be expected to go on the road and play one of the best defenses in the Nba and still score at their average ? The only real scorer they have is Kevin Durante and the heat will shut him down tonight.
OKC and Miami will both play a slow down tempo that will make it near impossible for the Thunder to get 90 anyway, but even with them trying to push it and pick up the tempo the Thunder still wont be able to break 90, I wouldnt expect this team to break 80.
Jermaine Oneal, Richardson, Udonis Hasleem, Dwayne Wade. Everyone knows these players for a reason. Can anyone even name a player from the Thunder. The Heat are the far superior team here. I wouldnt mess with the 6 1/2 just because I like to take points not lay points but I think this is a great spot for the parlay of Heat and Under. However, I never have any luck with the parlays so I will stick to a play I love.
This is the 5th game in a row that the Heat have played at home, and during the first 4 games of that stretch they have given up 88,76,111, and 80 points. The 111 came against Cleveland so to me that doesnt even count. This is not the Cavaliers they will be facing tonight. They even held Carmelo and a really good Nuggets offense to 88.Earlier in the season, they also went to Indiana and held a Pacers team that scores 100+ almost every game to 83 points.
I just think this is a beautiful spot. The Heat are possibly the best Defense in the NBA, they are at home, and they are playing a questionable offensive OKC team. An OKC team that has only averaged 93 playing much much weaker defenses. This is a beautiful spot, and this play will win.
Folks, The Heat will not allow the Thunder to break 90 in Papa Johns arena. Maybe in OKC ( even that I doubt ), but no way is it going to happen In Miami. This is free money just the same as if I was playing a round of Golf against Tiger and the book made the line a PK. Free money.
