    Regul8er's Monday Card (11/16/09)
Tonight's card consists of 2 NBA games, and 1 NCAAB game. I'm feeling more confident about my card today then I have in a long time (not sure if thats a good sign or bad, haha)

    1) Atlanta (-3, -106) Atlanta has been on a tear at home this year, dominating many games. Portland has been fantastic away from Rose, going 5-1 this far. They are getting tonnes of respect, but lets see who they've played on the road. There only loss came to Houston, and there wins came against Oklahoma City, Memphis, Minnesota, New Orleans and Charlotte. Hmmmmm, argueably five of the worst teams in the league. Tonight marks their 5th and final straight road game of the trip (5th game in 7 days), and I don't see them going a perfect 5-0. Alot of teams lack intensity on the final game of a long trip. Plus, Atlanta beat the Blazers 97-91 a few weeks ago in Portland. Gimmie ATL.

    2) Dallas (ML, +112) I expect J Kidd to teach Mr. Brandon Jennings a thing or two tonight. Kidd, being the ultimate competitor he is, will take this one personal, and will do whatever it takes to distrupt and slow down Jennings. If Kidd can accomplish this task, I just don't think Milwaukee has the support to beat the Mavs. I mean, Hakim Warrick is currently there third best option, REALLY! Plus, Nowitzki has historically torched the Bucks. The Mavs proved last year they could compete on the back end of two straight road games, by going 5-5 straight up, beating the likes of Houston, Portland, Sacramento and San Antonio. They are currently 1-2 in these situations this year, so it's nothing they aren't already used to. Gimmie the Mavs.

    3) Kentucky (-18.5, -105) I don't get why the line is so low. Hoping its value and not a trap! I think Morehead St is more talented then Miami OH, and Kentucky beat them by 17 (was mid 20's late) without their top recruit and future lottery pick on Friday. They already have a game under there belt, and have gotten rid of whatever jitters come with such a high preseason national ranking. Miami OH gave up 82 to Towson, and lost by 11 points. Miami is typically one of the top defensive teams in the nation, but allowed Towson to shoot 53% from the field, a team predicted to finish near the bottom of the Colonial. Remember, the RedHawks lost last years MAC player of the year (Michael Bramos) to graduation and two other starters. Onthewhat likes this game, and so do I.

Goodluck to everyone tonight, let's get paid.

    You know where I stand.

ATL should pull it off for me today.

If the coach is smart he wouldn't have Kidd guarding jennings. I would put Ross on him to slow him down.

Well, I was completely off on the Kentucky game, but I squeezed out two NBA wins.

2-1 days (+1.07 units) are money in the bank. I'll take em all day every day.
