Phoenix vs. LA pregame talk -- Odds/Value
Phoenix is firing on all cylinders and playing some dominating ball. I was quite impressed last night when their second unit came out in the 4th and pushed the ball harder and harder and harder!! It was high tempo until the final buzzer as the Suns didn't let up.

How last nights game will effect them tonight is the all important question. Here are the Suns starters stats from last night:

    J. Richardson G 26:34 4-8 2-5 3-4 +18 1 6 2 3 1 0 0 4 13 S. Nash G 22:36 5-6 1-1 1-1 +20 1 1 10 2 0 0 0 3 12 C. Frye C 33:36 4-9 3-7 2-2 +20 1 6 5 0 1 3 0 1 13 G. Hill F 30:51 8-14 0-1 2-2 +22 2 6 3 1 0 0 0 1 18 A. Stoudemire F 25:34 8-10 0-0 5-6 +18 2 6 0 2 0 0 1 4 21
Nash only playing 22 minutes stands out and probably means that he will be able to play 30+ tonight at an effective rate.

LA has had 4 nights off and will be well rested and ready to go tonight.

However, I think the Suns are going to play all out again tonight and LA won't know what hit them right off the bat. The line having the Suns+305 is huge and almost sounds too good to be true. As well, they've been given 8 points for the line!! I have difficulty understanding why Vegas expects the Lakers to take control and dominate the arguably best team in the league.

Are there match-up issues or circumstances that I'm missing??? Of course the main thing is Phoenix playing back to back, but I can't see that being the only factor for the huge favouritism!

Anyways, all this aside, I'm making a small play on Phoenix SU and a good size play on 1st Quarter O56. That seems way to low to me.

No way Vegas pays out +300 to all these Suns backers...why and how is irrelevant.

yep....this line is going to lose $$ for the books.......i dont see lakers winning tonight .....not with 4 days of not playing..suns have been hot and have played 3 games in 4 nights and have beaten every time with fast paced high scoring bball...it continues tonight in LA
