The NBA picks section often appears to be too unfocused due to members posting picks in their own threads rather than in game-discussion threads, I thought it would be a good idea to group the discussion for today's game to one thread in addition to each member's thread.
So..
Phoenix Suns Vs. LA Lakers (-7.5)
Cleavland Cavaliers (-1.5) vs. Miami Heat
My thoughts:
I refused to "fade" the Suns even though a lot of members rooted for that for the latest 3 games, simply ignoring one team's edge on another, or auto-fading them just because they've been on the road a lot is wrong in my humble opinion.
But I think it's not time for the sun to fade. I'm far from being a good handicapper, and the Suns' spectacular offense will give a nice fight to any team in the NBA, but I think LA will cover here.
(no bet so far)
King James seems to be getting out of his comma, and Williams is doing better after every game. I think that the #1 reason Cavs failed to dismantle Chicago a few games ago was that Lebron now realizes he's not the ONLY one his people count on, and was giving lousy O'neal too much credit, in their turn, the rest of team gave Lebron too much credit.
This one is obviously pretty close, but I like rooting for the king here.
(bet placed: Cleveland Cavaliers (-2) @ 1.971)
