1-1 O/U and 1-2 ATS yesterday; I need to really refine taking road teams. Here are today's picks (writeups maybe later):
ATS
NY +5.5 - pure PR play, line looks too high by all my numbers. Also, Utah of late has never shown to be a good road team.
LAC -1.0 - I'm officially off the NO bandwagon (which of course means now they'll rip off 10 straight covers). But seriously, they're off a back to back against a Clippers team playing respectable basketball; this is particularly notable as they've been without Blake Griffin. It appears that NO may not be the team advertised before the year; if this is accurate the line has not caught up to that perception as the line should be significantly higher based on in-season performances to this point. NO is also 0-4 on the road this year, with their closest loss being 5 points (to the Knicks).
Min +6.5 - Watched GS last night and had the misfortune of betting on them. They may be the most undisciplined team I've seen in a while. The have no interior defense. They aren't disciplined enough to recover after the other team makes an extra pass. Sacramento it seemed on every possession was either getting a wide open three or driving easily to the lane. On the offensive side the Warriors repeatedly settled for bad jump shot after bad jump shot (think 20-footers with guy in your face). Stephen Jackson, possibly their best player, wants out; apparently there's a bunch of tension between him and coach Don Nelson. It appears to me that this team may have started to quit on the coach already. Aside from all this, the line seems off PR-wise as well.

Uta/NY: U210
NO/LAC: O194.5 (not official yet as I'm hoping to fade the move some)
