How in the world did Vegas Sportsbooks know that Pacers and Bobcats would crush at home tonight? I do not understand how a team like the hawks who beat the Blazers lose to a low scoring bobcats?? Then the Pacers beat the Wizards..... Not only that but the T'wolves who shoulda won at home or at least kept the game close vs. bucks win.....and all 3 lost by double digits.

I want to learn as to how people put $$ on underdogs like the Bobcats,Pacers and Bucks tonight to win $$ from sportsbooks....honestly I do not understand. The only $$ ive made tonight was on the Cavaliers vs. Knicks game. And that game ended up being 100-91 when cavs were up double digits.

Your perception of these teams is inaccurate. Your idea of reality is skewed. Vegas had no idea the Pacers or Bobcats would crush at home tonight.

You need to understand pointspreads. They are created by simulating thousands of games with tonights precise conditions (lineups, spot, etc.) and the result will land on either side of that pointspread 50% of the time in those thousands of simulations.

To beat the NBA, you need to stop thinking like a square and start thinking like mathematician. I would suggest reading books on randomness to help you understand how and why things happen in the world.

    Here's a good one. http://www.amazon.com/Fooled-Randomn.../dp/158799190X

You need to break out of this square sports-fan mentality. When you are watching a sporting event, you are not correctly understanding the process that leads to the final result.

Bucks were away but I'm surprise Miami blew out Denver at home. But Miami, Pacers, and Bobcats all win in blowouts. This is starting to look like the WNBA... ride the home teams...

And the Twove's are trash the Bucks is playing really tough lately. So I thought they would as well with Toronto. But I'm surprised at Washington I thought they were going to be good this year. I know it's just the 2nd week of the season but Washington isn't looking good. They look like perfect fade material on the road a long with the Grizzlies.
