... that's cursed for you whichever way you bet. Altogether I'm down 4 units for the season and I'm HAPPY that I'm down only that because of one gem of a team - the Toronto Raptors. Lets review:
First they play the Cavs at home. Cavs coming after a dissapointing loss at home ready to redeem themselves vs a Raptor team that looked very disorganized the whole preseason. Cavs -5 seemed like a gift and I gladly took it for 5 units.
So they destroy the Cavs and next its Memphis that already looked poor at home their last game and with Iverson stil out this looked like a blowout in the making for the Raps. At -2.5 it seemed like free money. 6 units on this winner.
So ok, they'll pick it up again vs the Magic. The past games were competitive and Bosh always has a big game to show off to his friend Howard. And without Carter, Pietrus and Lewis theres no way Orlando blows them out. Raps +6.5 no problemo 4 units.
So Detroit comes to town and they look like a team that can give Raps a lot of trouble. Their guards are much better and they can keep up the scoring. Raps defence has been bottom of the league so hard to see them getting a doubledigit win. At +9.5 Detroit looks like a solid bet. 4 units to make easy money.
So after doing research on every game, always finding a side I really liked and betting strong all I have to show for it is -19 units and a team I'll be fearing to bet either way it goes. Hows it been for you guys? Any teams that refuse to play the way you masterfuly expected them to?
