Here are the picks and writeups:
NY -4.5 - Indiana is off a back to back and is playing with a ton of injuries, particularly inside (it looks like their top 2 PF's and starting C were not slated to play); in their current state they appear to be the worst team in the NBA. The Knicks, although not good, are improved this year and should win some games, particularly at home.
NO -4 - The Mavericks are still without Josh Howard and Drew Gooden. They came off an extremely hard fought and highly publicized come from behind win at home vs. Utah. Today they travel to a Hornets team that is off a day's rest and playing only their second home game of the year (1-0).
Hou +2 - by any PR measure I use, Houston was the play here, however this was assuming Gasol was not playing. LAL earned a tough OT win last night against OKC and now travels to a rested Houston team looking for revenge for last year's playoff drubbing. Houston continues to fly under the radar. Without Gasol this would have been my best bet of the day. With a possibly injured Gasol, I still like it, however not as much.
Sac +6 - the spread is just a bit high for me; Sacramento has also won their only home game. Their three road losses? SA, OKC, and NO; none to be ashamed of. This game also meets the theme of the day "rest". Sacramento is coming off a rest, while Atlanta is traveling to Sacramento after a tough win over Portland late last night.

Best of luck!
