Lakers are playing like garbage.

I picked the Suns in five. Lakers are playing like garbage, but I'm giving them one win because Steve Nash chokes in the playoffs, too often.

Big difference having Amare around this season, wouldn't you say? Also, last year's Laker team had a definite buzz going into the playoffs. This time around will be a quick 4 or 5 and out. A somewhat hobbled Odom, a regressing Kwame Brown and Vujacic, even a regressing Luke Walton... Just a different situation altogether. Last season, I would have said the Lakers had a definite chance against Phoenix. This year, no chance...

Suns move from -1050 to -2000 after Game 1. Lakers actually had a chance of winning Game 1 but couldn't stop Barbosa in the 2nd half.

The Lakers should have won Game One this year they lost it last year as well and last year they where ONE OFFENSIVE rebound away from winning the series Nash missed his game winner like he NORMALLY does sorry to Nash fans he doesn't hit big shots and don't tell me he beat Dallas this year with clutch play he missed the game tying 3, but offensive rebound went to Phoenix and he was found wide open for 3 to win it. I see no reason why the Lakers can't come back and compete in this series like they did last year. Brown is still hurting from his injury, but Walton and Odom are back in a big way. If they can provide the complimentary help Bryant needs this series is far from over. I picked the Lakers in 6 just cause they where getting no love I do think it will be the Suns in 6 right now, but the Lakers do have a chance never write Phil Jackson out of a playoff series.

Lakers are 4 point dogs tomorrow. Looks like the Suns sweep this series. I think they were trying to send a message to the Lakers in last night's rout.
