I just wanted to make a general appeal to all the cappers here at the NBA forum. Right now there are about 20-30 people posting picks on a daily basis, which is great. The more opinions that are made available the more informed you can be about each game. However, difficulty arises in determining who is for real and who is a fake. What I mean by this is that, as far as I know of, there is no clear consensus here as to who are the best and, more importantly, most reliable cappers. Certainly it is easy to see that some (Dex, BL, Roag...just to name a few) are more legitimate than others.
Everyone has a right to post their picks freely here, and I 100% support that. The problem I see occurring is for those who tail the cappers here. There are many users on this forum who tail these picks, without any thought of their own. This if fine, as most recognize that they don't know the NBA well enough to make thier own selections. In response to this, and the main point of this thread, I feel that all of us who are posting picks should keep an accurrate record of wins/losses and profit/loss. Regardless of whether I am winning on losing, I will always have my record in my signature. This is necessary so that those who may tail us can make informed decisions. I feel strongly about this because I know there are some tailers out there who play with money that is very important to them financially. To mislead these individuals would be very unfair, misrepresenting your record may cause them to lose money.
In conclusion, please take this into consideration in your threads and try to portray yourself and your record honestly. We are all here to make money, help everyone else succeed.
