Maybe Joey Crawford is getting to old to ref
So this guy all the sudden close of the 3rd quarter goes insane the first techincal on Duncan was a good call and ok. Next possession down the court he throws Duncan out of the game for sitting on the bench and laughing. Gives him a second technical are you kidding me one of the best power forwards in the HISTORY of the game doesn't get to sit on the bench and laugh and have a good time. Ok Crawford you messed up lets face it that was awfull being an ass of an old man though the next trip down the court you call an offensive foul against SA for what was obvious to all the anouncers how horrible of a call both plays where. He is just to old thats all I can say he gets his feelings hurt and refs based on emotions old people have mood changes like pregnant woman. He should be docked pay or suspended or something with how horrible he is reffing this game.

Prophet, you and i think alike. I posted the same thing in a different thread. Very questionable... To me, this is more about the NBA trying to build a rivalry and make it more heated. Right now, the Spurs-Mavs rivalry is about as intense as the Padres-Giants (not very intense at all). As soon as I saw that double T on Duncan, I tried to get over to my book (online, of course), to bet Mavs 4th quarter but was too damn late. Complete and utter horseshit call and ridiculous reffing. Blew my cover though my under is still in play unless OT occurs.

          It's about time! =)

NBA referee Joey Crawford was suspended indefinitely by commissioner David Stern on Tuesday for his conduct toward Tim Duncan, who contends the ref challenged him to a fight.

Crawford ejected Duncan from a game in Dallas on Sunday, calling a second technical foul on the San Antonio Spurs star while he was on the bench.

"He looked at me and said, 'Do you want to fight? Do you want to fight?"' Duncan said. "If he wants to fight, we can fight. I don't have any problem with him, but we can do it if he wants to. I have no reason why in the middle of a game he would yell at me, `Do you want to fight?"'

Crawford's suspension will last at least through the NBA finals.

I agree with this suspension if he hadn't of acted like calling the tech wasn't a big deal and throwing him out of the game for laughing. If he had just apologized and admited to making a mistake he could have even lied and said he heard someone say something and immediately thought it was Duncan cause he saw him laughing about it. He didn't though and he is just being a stubborn old man to bad he was a great ref for a time

Good to see him out of the NBA Finals though.
You think there will be wagers available whether he is coming back next year? =)
