Lakers will have the desire tomorrow. They desperately need this win or they will likely miss the playoffs. I won't be playing this one, but I think the Lakers roll by 15+.

Lakers played the Suns very tough in Phoenix. That was a playoff type battle. If they bring the same energy to this game a team like Seattle, without rest and with nothing left to play for, is toast.

But I'm not touching this one.

If I had to play this game, it would be the Sonics + the points. No way the Lakers should be over a 5 point favorite here.

i like the lakers in this spot. whenever i see an inflated line that looks too high the team always seems to cover (Cavs -15 today). the books know what they are doing and i think they are expecting to cash big with most bettors taking seattle.

Why did Denver need to win? They have six locked up and cannot move either direction.

The nuggets had absoultely no motivation last night, after clinching the sixth seed the night before. 2nd night of a back to back after winning 8 games in a row, and the loss is hardly suprising. Memphis shot real well.

I often see people betting on teams in a must win situation, but I feel this is a big mistake. If these teams could win whenever they need a win, they wouldn't be in such a situation in the first place.

If the Lakers could just turn it on when they need to, they wouldn't be .500 for the season. This line has moved up to 11 and I think Seattle would be the way to play this. I'm a bit learly betting on teams out of the playoffs playing a back to back.

The Lakers are 0-3 ATS this season as a favorite of 10 or more and just 13-27-2 ATS as a favorite (1-9 the last 10). I'd expect them to get the win here, but I doubt they cover.

I agree the Lakers are giving up to many, but this game is to risky to trust on just that. The Lakers have a lot on the line in this game and if they play like they did against Phoenix this game will be a 15-20 point blowout. If they play like they did against the Clippers they should still win by 6 and they played horrible with only Kobe showing up. They will come out hot tonight needing a win VERY badly right now. Watch out for this team with Walton getting into a flow last game he was a key component into their early season success if him and Odom can get into their flow while Kobe does his thing Lakers are scary for anyone.

All I keep hearing is the Lakers have something to play for.. They have had something to play for all season and are barely over .500 with Kobe playing every game and scoring 40+ in all of them..

Lakers have a horrible defense and unless Seattle just somehow doesn't knockdown shots Sonics should cover..

If the Lakers cover tonight it won't be because they need this game more.
