The best thing about this game was that it showed me that the nuggets rely too much on melo. When the playoffs roll around the Lakers will be in the finals again representing the west. Have fun nugs fans enjoy the regular season. LOL

Pleaze LakerKid, stop the Nugget bashing already. If Ref didn't help aided the Fakers in the West Finals, the Nugget would of been the Champs. I'm looking forward for Ron Artest tearing that team apart in the long run.

I'm no Nugs fan, but this is just retarded. First of all, Denver is missing a 20PPG guy in JR Smith. Secondly, Billups had, iirc, 20 points. The offensive performance by Nene leaves something to be desired, but he is better than that on most nights.

Of course the Nugs would rely on Melo offensively; he was on fire and he is their best scorer. Take away Aldridge from the Blazers and see if Roy is "relied upon".

Still very early in the season Laker. Billups didn't have a good game and they are still missing DWI Smith coming off the bench. Melo is in the best shape of his life and he just may get an MVP trophy this year. I like the Lawson pick up and nene is really under rated. Denver's defense seems a little out of sync from last year but they are much improved from 2 years ago. Their only problem is they have to learn to win on the road. Games like tonight is the first step. They may be a tough out come playoffs.

He's going to get hammered in the press tomorrow. You really can't blame him. He played his ass off tonight. He's looking better every game and will be a solid center. Portland just settles for too many jumpshots. You can't count on that come crunch time.

Wow this is the second time a got screwed by the blazers FT's. The first time was when I bet over in the Houston 1half and Roy and Pryzbilla went 2 for 4 then tonight oden and aldridge went 1 for 4. The worst part was that Nate mcmillan was to done to even call for a replay to have 2 seconds added back on to the clock.

Yea I would have tried to do that, but I don't know if it is available in the NBA. I would have liked OT for a chance to cash the over bet of 200, but I had more money on the spread and ML so I am still happy and lucky to be a winner today.

Oden is a joke! He will hurt Portland more this year than he will help them. For Christ's sake, Ty Lawson stripped him tonight.

Centers get stripped a lot especially in their first few years in the league. They forget and bring the ball down to low so the quick guards can swat the ball away. I watched a freaking ancient vet make the same mistake at a crucial point in the Cavs vs Celtics game the other night as Shaq brought the ball down at the 2 minute mark and had it stripped. He will learn from it and improve. You don't get better without knowing what to get better at.
