Attention, diehard hoops heads: Today, the powers that be have announced a weeklong free preview of NBA League Pass, the NBA's pay-per-view package of out-of-market games.
The appetizer begins today, the opening day of the 2009-10 NBA season, and runs through Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
(Some of the 40 or so games that immediately jump out to me: Philadelphia at Orlando, Washington at Atlanta, Golden State at Phoenix and Chicago at Miami.)
For those of you in the dark, a subscription to NBA League Pass also includes: NBA TV (the NBA's 24-hour digital television network), NBA League Pass Broadband (the enhanced subscription service that offers access to webcats of out-of-market games online), NBA League Pass Stats Central (a TV channel dedicated to displaying real-time updates including score and stats of every game) and some high definition telecasts of select games.
Customers who order by Nov. 3 will save $20 with the early bird price of $169 or four installments of $42.25.
Do what you got to do.
