Boston will keep this game close to the end; the public does not realized how good this team can be if they stay healthy. I see their front court length giving Cleveland lots of problems in this one.
Portland is almost a lock at home against a Yao-less Rockets squad, and I see them handling Houston pretty easy in their home opener.

Washington +8 (2 Units)

Dallas is not at full strength without Tim Thomas and Josh Howard, while Agent Zero is finally back and ready to proved himself in game 1 with a 30+ point game. Washington is underrated and I would not be that surprised if they end up winning this game.

Atlanta should be able to hand lowly Indy at home on their opening night and Houston's tough defense should keep it close against Golden State who does not know how to play defense.

Miami has not played a tough opponent yet this year and Chicago impressed me against SA, so I believe Chicago has a great chance to win this game.

Portland is playing its 4th game in 5 days and hasn't played well on the road...OKC looks like the pick here.

Boston looks like the best team in the NBA right now, and N.O. is not playing well at all...Boston should be the pick here with a teaser.

Denver has looked good and I don't see Memphis really having a shot to win this one.

The Lakers have not looked good and got pounded by Dallas at home, nonetheless I do not really see Atlanta having any sort of chance in this one. LA will comeback tonight strong after a very dissapointing loss.

Indiana is plagued with injuries (Foster, Dunleavy, Hansbrough) and Denver has looked really good so far. I was considering Washington, but Cleveland scares me even though they haven't played well yet this season because a monster night from Lebron is always possible especially against Stevenson and Co., who always seem to fire him up.

Washington does look good though at +19.5 no doubt about that, I just feel that Denver +2.5 is the better option.
