NBA Preseason Picks

Ok quick review of my picks

3 of them went quite well. Portland did outrebound the Suns by a mile. Gstate had a crazy pace which Hornets couldn't match and they played starters a LOT of minutes (A.Morrow 48 min). Atlanta did well even tho I expected a bigger win.

The OKC pick in retrospect was a bad one. Even tho the loss is mostly because of really bad shooting the game would be tight most of the time since Sacramento got embarased last game with Suns dropping 143 on them and would come with some extra effort. Only a small loss there and a good reminder of checking past games to notice bad losses or longer OT games.

All in all my big bets got thought so a great day for me, hope for you guys as well.

Thanks Turob for the picks! I'll be looking forward to your other picks in the future. I'm relatively new to sports betting and am trying to absorb as much information as I can from more experienced bettors as yourself. Do you have any particular strategies you use? I've been messing around with parlays and have had more success in preseason basketball than I have in football.

Your picks were really good. I was 5/6 for the night on the games I picked. I lost only on the OKC which is fine. I made my money back in two parlays.

What games are you looking at tonight Turob? Would you parlay any of the games? The lines have not been published yet on the book I use (betus) so I'm not sure what they are yet, but tentatively these are the teams I'm looking at so far as possible wagers.

tonight is the last night of preseason!!!

Thank you for the kind words Ostde. I'll try to give the answers soon, pressed for time today as I'm going out with my friends. Last day of preseason youre mostly guessing what the coaches want to accomplish - more playing time to get the starters clicking or resting starters to avoid last minute injuries before season starts. I've checked the lines quickly only one that stood out to me was Clippers -4.5. It really doesn't reflect how good the Clipps have been playing and how bad the Hornets are especialy with West and CP3 questionable to play.

Anyways good luck today gotta run and can't wait for the regular season

For me the preseason went quite ok. Went 9-6 and with some suprizing losses. Like Philly losing at home to Washington without Arenas, Jamison and Miller or Boston losing to Knicks while playing their starters a lot of minutes. Theres a lot of interesting things going on in preseason and I feel I've learned a lot of new stuff and am excited to play again next year as it should be even better. There definately is money to be made.

Turob said it right...to learn something a little more to be a stronger capper. For me I can now tell people 9 times out of 10 you are better off at selecting the (+) UNDERDOG spread during the preseason to make some easy cash then take the regular season a bit more serious.
