NBA playoff pushes

Should be some motivational angles in this for the coming weeks.

East:
- 4.5 games separate numbers 7 to 12.
NJN, IND, NYK, ORL, ATL, PHI battling for spots 7 and 8.

West:
- 5 games separate numbers 6 to 12.
LAL, DEN, LAC, GS, SAC, MIN, NO battling for 6, 7, and 8 spots.

Seems like not long ago I was looking at the Atlantic Division standings and rolling my eyes as the first place team was like 4 games under .500, and now you're telling me 3 teams from this division can realistically make the playoffs????!!!!!! What does that tell you about the Eastern Conference???

Actually, the best of the Eastern Conference has been as good as the best of the West the last 3 years in the Finals, winning 2 of 3, with the other series going to game 7 (SA vs. Det) and even tied after 3 quarters in game 7. And let's not forget all 3 of those series were home court advantage for the West. Which means, I suppose, that if either the Knicks, Nets or Raptors make the Finals, I am definitely on them
