Good Morning everyone. Hope that everybody done well last night. Was very busy last night at work and have no time to post picks.But i did play the cavs last night following Dex's A1 bet. Man it's hitting around/nearly 80% this season. Congrats Dex and everyone who cashed in on the cavs last night.

hey Dex.... just wondering your take on games following the All Star break.. I've seen some post they don't like playing games right after the All Star break, or if they use a system, they won't play the first 5 games after the All Star break - shit like that.
You figure its right back to business as usual, or is it wise to tread lightly on these next few games? Most have followed NBA a lot longer than I and am just looking for input. thanks.

it really depends on how you handicap games - i always incorporate historical trends (last 5 games between the 2 teams at that arena), so i dont have a problem getting right back to business.

yes - i was waiting on that 189.5 opener as i thought the line would go up some. missed .5 point as all my guys had 189 when i placed the bet today. had to make my move when i saw it drop .5 point.

dexter i have the under in the cavs game as well, and i am very disappointed in what i'm seeing. looked so promising in the first half, now it's one of those games that will take a miracle to stay under. 34 points in the first half of the 4th after a 58 point 3rd. that's some bullshit.

memphis had been a cash cow at home this year, and they have been in a real funk lately. taking the angle that the road win in tor last game will jump start them again. the heat have overachieved on this road trip and i can see them struggling big time to score without wade tonight. at home, the heat may have found a way to get it done without wade - but hes not only their best scorer but also their best distributor. i think they'll be lost w/o him tonight and would be surprised if they cracked 90. bottom line - the grizzlies should be more hungry for this game in front of the friday night home crowd. 100-85 memphis.

For real Dexter that Portland play is strong

Remember the only other time I ever came to your thread and gave you props on a play was when you had Cavs-10 against the Grizz prior to the game off a very similar situation. I say bump up your $$$ in this spot. There are no guarantee's in this world, but the play is about as good as it gets..I commented in Williams22 best bet thread for all the reasons I liked it.
