haha - doesnt take much to piss me off anymore, but when i put more then 1x on a team like the knicks - either get blown out or cover the spread. 28-13 in the 4th to lose by 7 catching 5. 15-2 run to end the game. knick whores

im driving before and hear on the radio they're up 12 in the 2nd half.

nice - spurs getting waxed early. at least the dukies got it done laying the heavy wood.

dex, if the suns keep up this way, they will cover the over on their own!! last night i posted in here that i liked the suns to cover - but i got talked out of it from some bastard that stole all my sbr points! those points were going to be used to buy an sbr thong too!!!! mine is wearing out and i desperatly need a new one.

bulls will cover. i faded alot of ppl on the lakers.... u can make alot of money fading lakers, celtics, cavs, nuggets, even the magic... the teams with the big names almost never cover. yet people still shell out tons of money on them. not saying that the lakers dont have a chance, just saying that the other day i heard john barry and everyone on NBA tonight say that the lakers had NO COMPETITION. are you serious? saying their in a "league of their own" and shit.... people eat that shit up. this is the NBA, everyone has a chance. they are OVER RATED if u ask me =] i cashed in hard the other night at utah... when everyone was ridin lakes.

blunts, i agree - sort of - with what your saying. but when the lakers are playing a shitty team and the spread is only -9.5, i will take that all day.

the celts keep winning but NEVER cover those big spreads either, so you do have some validity, but i have to believe that the lakers can cover 10 versus the bulls. if they dont cover, and u win your bet, koudos to you! but i dont think my lakers -9.5 was bad at all.

ATS This Season:

Cavs 12-12 (+ last year)
Magic 13-10 (+ last year)
Celtics 11-12 (+ last year)
Nuggets 13-12 (+ last year i believe...def at home)

the lakers i agree with fading in a lot of spots. they toy with teams and always have inflated spreads. but man blunts - i completely disagree with these other 4 teams you mentioned. all of those teams made us a lot of money last year. we would consistently play the cavs/magic and celts off losses and it was like an atm machine. not as solid this year with that angle, but i'll still play each time on any given night if my other angles/trends etc line up.

and yes, the lakers DO have competition! the celts will give them a ride if it gets to that point again this year. lakers do rise to the occasion when playing good teams, and they do have good players and they are deep, but the west coast just isn't as tough as the east - IMO.

im not backing it up with any numbers obviously..... its just that ive beat those 5 teams ATS at least once alot of them twice, just in the past week (knowing when to fade). obviously you will not win money fading all 5 every night =] in fact i beat the celtics and nuggets just last night... beaten the lakers, cavs (twice), and magic (ML and ATS, same game at utah). this is all in the past 7 days. maybe its just a fluke but lately they been the only thing makin me money =]
