Joe Johnson still out right? Thats the reason. Yes the Hawks are 2-0 with Johnson out, but how much longer can they keep up that high?
With that being said, I think I may ride this game with you. I have to look at it more though. We all know the Timberwolves stink as well. So if anything this line should be a pickem.

Of course, I see where you are coming from, but this game scares me. It's true Minnesota hasn't won in Atlanta since 2002, despite Atlanta having been a consistently crappy team through those years.
But both are off of back-to-backs here, with Minnesota off of a bad loss and Atlanta off of a squeaker win against the worst road team in the league. Atlanta may well get complacent after having won two in a row without Johnson and come out flat in this one. I'd be careful putting too much on Atlanta, although if you want to go for a lock-in profit the game could go down to pick 'em, as you say.
But I also wouldn't be surprised if the sharp money keeps this at -2.

I much prefer the UNDER here at 187.5, as I don't see the Hawks scoring consistently without JJ and Minnesota hasn't scored 100 points in regulation since 1962.

I agree with LT here. The under is the best way to play this game IMO.
