CAVALIERS/LAKERS OVER 194.5: These teams went easily UNDER when they met on Sunday, but their home/away defensive splits suggest that a higher scoring game is in store tonight. The Lakers are allowing an unacceptable 101.0 points per game here at Staples on 45.3 percent shooting, and Cleveland is allowing its road opponents to shoot 46.0 percent while allowing 96.1 points per road contest. Thus we look for Kobe and LeBron to get some offensive support in this TNT national telecast.

ARKANSAS STATE -3.5: Arkansas State was upset by Louisiana Lafayette the last time it played at home, but we look for a nice bounce-back effort here tonight. The Indians are still a sparkling 9-2 SU in this building, winning those games by an impressive average of +7.9 points. This is also a revenge spot after a four-point loss at New Orleans last season, and the home team is now a sparkling 9-1 SU in the last ten head-to-head meetings.

UCLA -11½ at Arizona State
I know the Sun Devils have been keeping scores close despite running up a 14-game losing streak. But I've also got to think the Bruins are going to come in and really take Arizona State to the woodshed here.

Houston Rockets +3: Houston got blown out at Dallas last week, but they should do much better tonight at home. Houston has been better at home this year and blew out Dallas at home in November. Dallas has won 8 straight games, but they are just 4-4 ATS in those games and they are do for a letdown here after winning the first 2 games of their trip.

Cleveland @ Lakers: Over 195: I also like this play. The Lakers will be looking for revenge in this game for their loss at Cleveland, but I think this line is too high to play on LA even though Cleveland played last night. The Lakers don't play very good defense and should allow over 100 points tonight, while scoring atleast that many themeselves.

UL Monroe +2.5

Monroe beat Lafayette by 19 at home earlier this year, and they've dominated the sunbelt this year. It continues tonight.

North Texas -6

There are a few teams that I always like to bet against. . .ECU, Iona, St Peters, Idaho. . .and add Denver to the list. They're having a rough season and I don't see any reson North Texas can't hand them a double digit loss tonight.
