    Line move in Spurs-Nets game
Anyone hear anything about an injury or something? The spread in tonight's SA-NJ game was Spurs -5½ just a short while ago and now it's Spurs -7.

Heard Peter Vescey's rumor about a possible Lakers deal for Jason Kidd yesterday, but can't find a thing about that or some last minute injury anywhere

Seeing as the Lakers went from -6 to -7.5 and the Nets went from +5.5 to +7, I'd say its got everything to do with a trade

This injury might just be a front for impending trade.

Well if nothing else it justifies the line movement.

          here you go

After being bothered by a strained lower back the last few games, Jason Kidd underwent chiropractic treatment, missed practice yesterday and will not play on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Heres what I happen to find on this one:

Kidd, J G Late Feb - Back - 2/13/07 (Will sit till after the all-star game)

Don't sell the young fella short.
I think the Nets will be AOK at PG tonight.

Hoping the line gets driven up to 9 and 400.
(Home teams hate to lose by double digits.)

Suprs have lost 4 of last 5 on this trip with lone victory coming over the freefalling Wiz.

Jay, The one thing that I have noticed this year is when big stars miss games for a extended lenth of time. That team usually plays better for some reason. For example, Lebron James, Kobe, Chris Paul, and even Mello all missed a good amount of time this year. There respected teams stepped up and played better and actually did better without there stars.

Jay, you can find plenty of 9's now. Hell, allpro.com has it at +9 (-115).

While I generally agree with this statement Dan, the Nuggets were 13-9 leading into Melo's suspension and then lost 6 of their next 9 and finished out 7-8 during his suspension. Held the course yes but I'd have trouble saying they played better.
