    Mitchell back in Utah tonight
Can the Jazz win without Olynyk?

It's also Markkanen going against his former team. I think Jazz take care of this as dogs.

    yeah agree take the jazz

Not only Markkenen motivated, but the jazz got beat by 23 in cleveland.

both these teams have much better home records than road

Olynyk a good player but nothing to write home about

i expect these white people in utah, some of them mormons, to cheer mitchell. is he going to go off for 50 in a hate-filled rant for being traded, i don't think so. guy says he's happier in cleveland

as usual proceed with nba regular season games with caution. you don't know how many of these guys care at any minute

Rumor was he wanted out of Utah not because of Gobert but because of race/ culture in the city, and even the franchise not backing him on his race baiting shit. I don't know how much the average Jazz fan knows about this or cares. I expect he'll get a warm reception.

i have no problem with mitchell wanting out of utah. once spent some time in the midwest it is brutal re: culture. i can't imagine cleveland is much better, but guessing utah is very boring re: culture

i think i heard part of the reason though was he wanted to play with a young talented team which cleveland certainly is
it didn't take 2 minutes for kawhi to want out of toronto and head to la even after winning a title

like u said they'll cheer the guy

Fans can be ruthless, especially short-term. I think he gets booed, not that it really impacts the game.

they'll have a tribute video come out. gm is asking the fans to support him pregame, then root for jazz hard in-game.

Tied at 55 at the half.

Mitchell unreal as a scorer. Good defender too. The one glaring thing wrong with him is he's got no point skills. Jazz able to navigate that with Jinglin' Joe their point forward. But with team USA he failed. Now he will fail with the Cavs... Garland and Mobley have taken a leap backwards this season. L.James is the obvious solution for the Cavs. Trade Garland for him and they get another ring.

                Another Cavs meltdown.

Is Clarkson better than Mitchell? Was tonight.

That was a bad game but yeah clarkson was without question the best player on the floor

0 chance they'll get lebron for the entire cavs team

without allen cavs sucked but the jazz sukd even more. and then clarkson showed up
refs were calling fake fouls on the d all night, until they pushed the jazz over for the win. big props to the refs 2nite

garland is their point i think. mitchell is the scorer not a disher
regular season crazy nutty game lol

Cavs blew a 10pt lead in crunch time in Clipperland earlier this season -had Allen healthy then. It's just what they do; they blow hot & cold because they don't have a true pg. Garland tries but he's too naïve. Rubio might be able to help...

Agree on the officiating... seemed like they were switching sides but that's NBA action for you!

yeah i didn't sense any chemistry at all between garland and mitchell. one guy has the ball, or the other, so yeah it's like without a pg. that's a problem. though, garland is obviously closer to a pg than mitchell who just wants to shoot the ball

but it's one regular season game. a forgettable one at that (except for clarkson of course who was brilliant)
