    T'Wolves with another upset
Previously the Nuggets, now the Blazers. Thought Russell being out was the catalyst for their win prior -knucklehead...

They're getting a nice lift from Garza in the 2nd unit these two games. This guy had a hard time defending at the Summer League level -did not look like an NBA player! Highly skilled though.

Blazers meanwhile still haven't got it together... appear to have all the ingredients for a cohesive unit but it's not happenin.

Lillard another guy that has suffered the unnatural motion foul calling since the rule changes a couple years ago. Him, Young, and Harden.

it's hard to tell anything from these regular season games.

for example the nets won 12 in a row tonight they lose to the bulls, other than durant suddenly these guys forgot how to shoot. or lost effort. if it's a playoff game, they would have won by 30.

Nets Royce o'Neale 0-9 in 35 minutes. Vaughn should have determined the guy forgot to set the alarm clock. Saw the game he had wide open shots, he killed the Nets.

Tough team to play for imo. Durant & Irving don't pass the ball. Bulls just the same with DeRozan & Lavine. Celtics would be the same except they have Horford

NY Post went after O'Neale, top line in Nets story:

Royce O’Neale came back from a non-COVID illness Wednesday night, but his shooting touch was still a little sickly. The veteran came in shooting .413 from 3-point range, but went a scoreless 0-for-9 from the floor and 0-for-8 from behind the arc in the Nets’ 121-112 loss to the Bulls.
“Of course when you feel sick and you’re out and don’t play [it has an impact],” O’Neale told The Post. “But these guys have confidence in me to keep shooting, and that’s what I’m going to do. I mean, never have I ever had a game like this. But I learned from it. Every game is a learning experience. And you know, this is great for myself and going forward.”

Well they scored 69 of the team's 112 points on decent shooting.

Been watching a lot of Nets games it's rare the rest of the team does shot. That was tonight, other than Curry who showed up and balled. O'Neale should have been eating pine, for whatever reason Vaughn thinks he's a legitimate player regardless of if he's playing or not.

Bulls Donovan had a game for them. Irving said as much that he and Durant would get doubled, the other guys have to make shots. The Bulls did not even challenge O'Neale on 3 pointers he still couldn't shoot. the a ss of the game 4 sure. if they guard 5 on 4 with claxton or simmons out there who hit 0 perimeter, you see how to beat the Nets. Great game plan.

it is what it is man...i think this regular season is just preseason for when the nba playoffs start. none of this is gonna matter much. though it'd be nice to get the 1 seed, even that doesn't guarantee you anything.

K.Walker another guy. He was blaming Thibs for falling out of the NBA last season. This season he gets a shot with the Mavs but waived within a few weeks -ironically the other Knicks castaway Ntilikina beating him for the rotation spot. I.Thomas another one... Age a factor sure, but it's not all that. Doesn't bode well for the careers of Morant & Fox long term. NBA is all about big guys driving to the basket these days. The bigger/ stronger the better.

Have to say the Kings won that Sabonis/ Haliburton trade after all. Harder to find big guys that attack the basket strong off the dribble than it is spindly pg with high-level shooting ability.

                      Klay out with "knee soreness"

He does not look happy on the bench

Guy has had achilles and 2 knees

Onviously Warriors being healthy going to be key to their title chances

Warriors get what they deserve. Iguodala shows up for game #40 for his season debut -wasn't injured. Expects the rock star treatment/ Warriors get destroyed by a lottery team. That Green punch in training camp was a harbinger for this mess. Arrogant team.

Blazers meanwhile..... time to trade Lillard. Or maybe tell everyone with a mic how lucky his is that they're loyal to him

                              Saw some Nuggets

My take is the team is very hard to beat in Denver at altitude. Jokic great player, I'm a fan of Murray too. Gordon solid. The weakness is after that, Bruce Brown a journeyman player, not great not bad though. 2nd unit looks like who's out there. Caldwell Pope hitting 3s at a high rate hopefully that continues.

As with any team they have strengths and weaknesses.

Durant got an injury scare, just an MCL. No big deal. If he tore an ACL or something, that's my Nets title wager out the window. That's why you generally don't take title shots in the NBA with trades and all and injuries, unless you think the odds move.

Hyland is the X-factor for them. Dynamite scorer but weak on defense.

Porter appears to me the one most likely to hold them back -can see him disappearing in the playoffs. People compare him to Durant, but he's more like McDermott. I bet they'd love to trade him to Toronto for Anunoby.
