well, it's interesting. brooklyn got the living s kicked out of them last game as sacramento was hitting 3s and sabonis was beating up claxton.

the only guy on the nets who could guard sabonis was simmons

the biggest question mark for the nets is simmons. if simmons can play consistently at a high level the team is tough to beat, as simmons gives them everything they lack. but if he can't, if he's injured crying whatever, the nets are a weak team physically

coach vaughn seemed to be experimenting with lineups last game. imo he needs to start simmons

Watanabe a great game, the hustler on the team. Team needs a smart guy and a hustler.

Simmons a monster game, 6 for 6 from the field, 15 points 12 rebounds 7 assists. He's the ingredient they need to win a title. He blends in perfectly with this team.

Nets had an actual NBA coach in Vaughn. Granted he's not a great coach, but from what I saw tonight with his substitutions, he is a legitimate professional coach and can see the game. I thought Nash should have started coaching as an assistant. He had no idea what he was doing.

Nets to get Irving back by Sunday, which helps given both Sumner and Thomas had no idea what they were doing out there. Coach was right to take them out.

yeah it wasn't a bad pick Portland had control of the game up 11 in the 3rd quarter. Just picked a game where Simmons and Watanabe were on fire. Barely lost, too. Tip in by O'Neal off a miss

Nets are interesting, I don't think Vaughn has had a chance to coach Kyrie Irving yet. What will he do with his talent. Steve Nash had no idea what he was doing.

When you look at Simmons Durant Irving, when these guys are on they are elite talent. They can use Watanabe as the hustle guy on that team. They have big issues with the bench, "starter" Claxton is a bench player-they obviously need a big/#5 and should trade for it if they can.
