Q: Who is the best American-born caucasian NBA player to enter league in L30 years?
Think about it. Not an easy question.

Post-Larry Bird. Chris Mullin and John Stockton entered league in the 80s, so they don't count.

I don't think it's an ez question. There is not a long list of luminaries.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

You would think in 30 years there would be a pg like Nash or Stockton.

They get phased out in the high school ranks me thinks. Blacks mature quicker (physically) so maybe the Whiteys get cut before they're ripe.

Chris Kaman was very good for short stretch and Parsons also. Even though he was a slight bust Laettner was fairly good. Tom Gugliotta was a big scorer also. Van Horn had a few big years early but just average most of his career.

4 of those players played for the Mavs at some point. Mark Cuban loves white ballers, and that's the only reason he drafted Doncic. Better to be lucky than good.

The technical answer to this question is actually Domas Sabonis.

Cuban loves big guys, foreign guys, and white guys. I think over half the 7'2+ guys this century played for Dallas.

Not saying he was the best or even on Love and Hayward’s level but he had a nice 11 year career. Better than Hinrich but never got enough playing time

Not many to choose from, Nash was born in South Africa.

Just adding white players for the sake of it lately. Melli fine, he allows them to play the same way when KP or Kleber are out of the lineup, but Redick is washed; can't defend/ no staying power. Whenever a player begs to be released or traded to a top title contender (i.e Nets) it's a clear sign they're finished. Seen it many times now. Mavs better off with he guy he unsurped -Trey Burke.
