Last summer there were murmurs the Mavs wanted a tough guy to counter the likes of Harrell when something got started, so they went out and got a black belt in karate. penetrating idiots this is basketball not martial arts! How about that? Signing a guy that doesn't fit the system just for a one off type situation in which there wont even be an actual fight, just a reality tv type situation/ shoving match. Ruin team cohesion for that. NBA GMs are so stupid...

They need Kleber back just so that Carlisle will tell this bum to sit down.

Trading for Richardson seems like a blunder also, although the jury still out since he might be more an impact guy in the playoffs. Thinking was trade a elite shooter for a 2-way player. But what are defensive guards worth in today's game? Seems they get screened and then disappear. If they hustle over the screen the offensive guy just raises up and draws contact as the defender slams into him. Richardson needs to be a lot better offensively for what he's making. Mavs got worse I think.

Pat Beverley is the only "little" guy I've seen be an impact defender in recent years. He's very in tune with the rules. Flops a lot. Heady player with toughness & quickness -rare breed.

Dallas has been getting slaughtered on the glass. That shows a tremendous lack of toughness as men. Too many of them just don't want it bad enough. It wouldn't surprise me if someone on that team just quits. Carlisle will be done if this stuff doesn't get fixed fast. Porzingis is also a ghost defensively when he has played. Luka should continue calling these Losers out of a daily basis and maybe punch a few of them out if they keep showing zero effort.
