When does 2020-21 NBA season start?

At least preseason should be before the end of the year for sure. Probably no time for a summer league alternative.

The NBA announced Tuesday that the 2020-21 schedule will be released in two halves, with the All-Star break in between and a play-in tournament set for May 18-21.
